ACTS – Competence Centre for vehicle safety

ACTS in Sailauf (near Frankfurt/Main), a hundred percent subsidiary of Magna International, is the competence centre within the Magna group for vehicle safety as well as for the development of complete modules. In one of the most modern development and test centres worldwide, modular and functional systems are being developed, simulated and tested. Over the past few years ACTS has gained a good reputation as a reliable and flexible development partner, particularly in the field of passive vehicle safety with all of the well-known european vehicle manufacturers.

The close co-operation with the MAGNA Groups, opens up new possibilities of system integration for the customers, whereby products are tailored and harmonized according to the customers philosophies.

“Award” Vehicle Safety-
ACTS wins Award “Company of the Year 2007”

The worldwide magazine “Automotive Testing Technology International” allocates six awards in the following categories every year – Innovation, Development Team, Dynamics Development, Engine Development Team, Crash Test Team and Company of the Year.

A jury of nine members from the magazine choose the winner from well known companies within the automotive industry.

In 2007, ACTS successfully competed with four other competitors in the category „Company of the Year“ and now hold this title for one year. The background for the decision covered amongst other things the future orientated strategy as well as the continuous development of new technologies and processes in the area of vehicle safety development and testing.
