F.R.I.T.S. is a force controlled test system based on an ABB robot. Its payload, velocity and measurement technique as well as its frequency range and its degrees of freedom, enable F.R.I.T.S. a range of endurance tests for vehicle components.

Due to the measurement technique, it is possible to induce loads, measure forces and stroke or to equalize differences to the reference values and finally log the complete data.

The innovative testing system and its special name have been developed by ACTS engineers. The symbiosis with ABB creates a fully comprehensive testing know-how for manufacturing companies, bundled in one contact.

The F.R.I.T.S. robot is not only a product, distributed by ACTS, it is also used in-house for endurance tests. So a new testing system has been created: from user to user.
