Simulation of an accident: vehicle against pedestrian (leg area) with free-flying impactor (Flex PLI, TRL-leg, PDI2)

  • Power unit: E-Liner (Frontone)
  • Acceleration of lower leg impactors according to UN-R 127-02, Euro-NCAP JNCAP and EG-directive 78/2009 and 631/2009
  • Acceleration of misuse impactors to sensor dimensioning according to customer specification
  • Calibration of test areas according to law or Euro NCAP
  • Impactor trajectory ballistically compensated
  • Speed range: 10–55 km/h
  • Tempered tests available on request

  • Hydraulic-pneumatic system, adapted on an ABB robot
  • Implementation of procedures according to WG17, UN-R 127-02, Euro-NCAP and JNCAP
  • Also possible on active systems (e.g. active hood)
  • Calibration of test areas according to law or Euro NCAP
  • Dynamic calibration of head impactors
  • Tempered tests available on request
